This Plug-in which makes it possible to sound with Bart' PE.
It may not work depending on environment.

  • regarded as not operating unless it has incorporated "DirectX 9b" and "Network Support".
  • In case of incorporating "Explorer&IE(XPE)", incorporate "Device Maneger Catalog Classes" too.



    　- - way - to incorporate -


    1. Please double-click "copy.cmd"
    　"drivers" "inf" "sys32" folders are created automatically,
    　and required files are copied except your sound card driver.

    2. Inclusion of the sound card driver of your environment
    　Copy *.inf files of your driver into "inf" folder.
    　Copy *.sys files of your driver into "drivers" folder.
    　Copy *.dll files of your driver into "sys32" folder.

    3. Rewriting of *.inf
    　Rewrite "gameport.inf" "ks.inf" "wdmaudio.inf" in "inf" folder as follows.
    　Open *.inf by your editor,
    　Please attach ";"(semicolon) at the head of the line which has started in [CopyFiles] or [DelFiles].

    　eg.
    　CopyFiles=GamePort_Device.CopyFiles.NT
    　as
    　;CopyFiles=GamePort_Device.CopyFiles.NT

    4. Rewrite .inf files, in "drivers" folder, by the same method as the above.



    [The recognition method of sound driver]

  • Explorer shell
    　Please open device manager, carry out the right click "? Multimedia audio devices" in "other devices", and update drivers.
    　When "PE Network Configurator" has already been performed, "! Multimedia audio device" must be in "Sound, video and game controllers" instead of "other devices".
    　Start "Update Driver ...", hardware wizard will start, and driver will be recognized automatically.

  • Nu2Menu shell
    1. First, perform "Nu2Menu -> System -> Network -> PE Network Configurator".
    　When "PE Network Configurator" has already been performed, need not to performe it.

    2. Next, perform "Nu2Menu -> System -> Sound and Audio Device".
    　Since the setting screen of a sound and an audio device comes out, move to Hardware tab.
    　Choosing "Multimedia Audio Controller",Click "Property" and Re-Installation of a driver.
    　Start "Update Driver ... ", hardware wizard will start, and driver will be recognized automatically.


    If you rewrite the inf file of the driver perfectly, Sound Drivers will be recognized.

    Shortcut of "Windows Media Player 6.4" and "Volume Control" are existed "Nu2Menu -> Programs -> Accessories".
